Research Assistant, Oceans and Coasts

MSc. Wildlife Biology and Conservation

It was through my master’s degree in wildlife biology and conservation that I was first introduced to research in marine systems and I have been hooked ever since. My interests are broad and scattered within the space of wildlife biology, but fields of key interest to me are the impacts of climate change, the ecology and evolution of invasive species and behavioural ecology as a whole - all with an inclination toward marine systems. My current work is based primarily in Lakshadweep, and focused on understanding the factors driving coral reef accretion and the potential of lagoons to act as climate change refugia for the outer reef.
