Project Manager, High Altitudes

I have a keen interest in environmental issues and addressing them through interdisciplinary approaches. I have completed my master's in environmental human geography. I like to bring learnings from various social science disciplines to understand the sociopolitical complexities of landscapes and thus, better contextualise conservation interventions. Previously, I have worked on issues such as rehabilitation of captive wildlife in India and countering wildlife trafficking in the northeastern region of India. My research interests broadly include political ecology of conservation and green criminology. In my free time I enjoy cooking and reading literary fiction.
