Research Assistant, Western Ghats

My interest for wildlife goes way back to when I was a child and it only grew stronger over the years. I did my Master's in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from Pondicherry University. Post my master's I worked as a Research Assistant studying the movement ecology of Himalayan Langurs in the human-dominated landscapes of Uttarakhand. Later I worked on understanding how environmental factors and trait-mediated responses affect the seedling composition and distribution in a fragmented landscape. I am eager and curious to learn more about animal behavior, plant-animal interactions and conservation sciences. Apart from this, I enjoy traveling and trying out new things.
