Kiran joined the NCF team in the central Western Ghats in 2023. He began his work with NCF by participating in pollination experiments in coffee plantations. Over time, he expanded his role to assist with research on vegetation dynamics in abandoned coffee plantations. In a short period, Kiran mastered the identification of plants and seeds. He has also been actively involved in nursery and restoration activities in the central Western Ghats. A skilled tree climber, Kiran plays a key role in arboreal camera trapping for mammals. Additionally, he is passionate about learning to identify mammals, frogs, and wild mushrooms.
