I grew up in a village near Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. From a young age, I was deeply connected to the land, spending countless hours exploring the farmlands and forests surrounding my home. Witnessing my parents’ dedication to farming as a livelihood, I developed a sense of appreciation for agriculture. This journey led me to discover the Marudam Farm School in Tiruvannamalai, a vibrant community where I immersed myself in the principles of organic farming and afforestation. This transformative experience enriched my knowledge and encouraged me to return to my village, where I worked with young people, practicing what I learned about organic farming and reforestation.
Recently, I joined the NCF team at Valparai, where I am actively involved in ecological restoration projects. I look forward to seeing how much deeper I can understand the forest and its intricate ecosystems.
