I am a Wildlife Biologist trained at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore. My research interests encompass behavioural and population level consequences of intraguild competition and predation in carnivores, methods aimed at studying rare carnivores, the influence of global change on food web networks and the ecology and conservation of arid and semi-arid (hot/cold) socio-ecological systems. At NCF I am working with the High Altitude Program to study species interactions in the carnivore community of the High Himalayas and its consequences for wildlife conservation.
