Research Assistant, Endangered Birds

Growing up in the rural village of Chandur in Nizamabad district, Telangana, I spent most of my childhood surrounded by nature—tending to agricultural fields, caring for cattle, and playing with our pet dogs. My grandfather's vivid stories about his encounters with wild animals during his own childhood sparked a deep fascination in me. These early experiences have driven me to pursue a career in wildlife, fueled by a curiosity to explore and discover the wonders of the natural world. This passion led me to pursue my Master’s in Wildlife and Management from Kuvempu University, Shivamogga, Karnataka. At NCF, I will be involved in camera trapping and habitat monitoring as part of the Jerdon’s Courser project in Andhra Pradesh.
