Growing up chasing hares and catching dragonflies in the lush, green, rural settings of Kerala, my passion for wildlife conservation really took off after reading about Martha, the last passenger pigeon. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in zoology, during which I explored regional diversities of birds and of butterflies and moths for my dissertations. At NCF, I work with eBird datasets to analyze bird and birding trends across India, as well as supporting eBirding communities nationwide. When I’m not out in the field watching birds, bugs, or butterflies, you’ll find me reading science or natural history— or otherwise, binging on movies or anime.
