My zest for the natural world started in Coorg, where I spent most summers as a child, and it got nuanced during my undergraduate studies in Biology at Azim Premji University, and later my Masters at the Wildlife Institute of India in Wildlife Science. During my journey through ecology, I found myself wanting to look at what I was passionate about through an interdisciplinary lens, especially climate change resilience, social justice and social-ecological systems. I have had the privilege of exploring various systems, from grasslands in Assam to the peri-urban spaces in Bangalore and I am very enthusiastic to be able to explore the Lakshadweep islands, especially through understanding the intricacies of climate change and policy! I look forward to contributing in an impactful and meaningful way to this space.
