Project Coordinator, Western Ghats

B.Sc (Bio-chemistry, Botany and Zoology) M.Sc (Environmental Science)

As a child I was always fascinated by the marvels of nature. My fascination with nature began in the coffee plantations of Kodagu which is my native. My passion for wildlife began with bird watching and educating people regarding wildlife conservation. I initially joined NCF as an intern under the Western Ghats programme which gave me more insight into wildlife research. My keen interest is in wildlife ecology and wildlife conservation. Now, I manage the community-based conservation work in the beautiful landscape of MM Hills and Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuaries of Southern Karnataka. My passion for wildlife conservation and ecology has always been the driving force for me to work in this field which has provided me immense edification.
