My previous role in the development sector saw me work on community-level interventions in Delhi NCR, Jaipur and Bhopal with vulnerable youth affected by Gender Based Violence (GBV). My academic background, which includes a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Development, has afforded me the opportunity to travel substantially and document stories from diverse geographies of India. Prior to joining NCF, I was working in the web content space as an Editor, authoring news stories and feature articles covering various issues in the higher education sector. Neil Gaiman, Manu Joseph, Roger Federer and Chelsea FC are my usual happy distractions outside of work.
Currently, as part of the Oceans and Coasts Programme, I work with the team responsible for executing a holistic community outreach project to preserve local biodiversity in the Lakshadweep Islands.
