Having spent my entire childhood in Mumbai, I had no idea about the magic of the mesmerizing natural world till I visited the Sal forests in my native place in Mayurbhanj, Odisha. It is here where I developed my love for nature and thereafter honed professional skills at the Indian Institute of Forest Management. I had short stints at the Cauvery wildlife sanctuary and in the Central Indian landscape where I worked on aspects of ecotourism and community based-conservation respectively before joining NCF. It is a dream come true at NCF where my task is to assist the High Altitudes Programme team with on-ground conservation initiatives.
When I have nothing to do, I love playing and watching football.
