I work with hand-done mixed-media to create visual collateral such as illustrations, infographics, visual narratives and maps of information. My primary area of practice is Social and Communication Design - which includes working with topics of conservation and ecology in collaboration with enterprises, organisations and marginalised communities. I am fascinated by the power of stories and the ability they hold to move another person when communicated clearly. I explore visual story-telling as a means for sharing perspectives and bridging gaps between communities. My passion lies in using design thinking tools to identify areas of need in social and cultural systems, and due to my varied training, I adopt an interdisciplinary approach in my process of making.
