The lives and livelihoods of the people of Himachal Pradesh are linked to the environment. Given the close interconnection between people and nature, interactions between them are inevitable. Sometimes such interactions can have a negative impact on people and their livelihoods. The Wildlife Wing of the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department remains concerned of any negative impacts of wildlife on people and has remained proactive in drafting policies to address them. This booklet is a guide for relief claim so that all genuinely affected individuals can benefit from this policy.
