The SoP is not meant as a binding document, but more to serve as a starting point of discussion with the faculty selection committee (comprising 2-3 NCF faculty and one external member) convened by the Academic Dean to understand and discuss the candidate’s interests, motivations, and vision for the position. The faculty selection committee will assess the CV and SoP, solicit views of other colleagues, and short-list candidates for one or more rounds of interviews. Based on their discussions with the candidate and their appraisal, they will submit a recommendation to the NCF Governing Council (GC), who will decide on the final selection collectively.

Appointment duration:

Appointment will be for a period of two years, extendable after review to five years, with possibility of renewal for subsequent five year term.
