Along with the Ecological Restoration Alliance - India (ERA-India), NCF organises the Restoring Natural Ecologies conference in different locations in India. The conference was organised annually from 2022-25, shifting to a biennial event thereafter. The conference brings together a growing restoration community, including restoration practitioners, researchers, ecologists, artists, landscape architects, community members, students and other stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences, and practices in ecological restoration. With plenary talks, panel discussions, short talks,
workshops and film screenings, talking circles, a network mela, and experimental participant driven formats, the conference provides a platform for showcasing restoration projects, opportunities for collaboration, discussions and advancing restoration endeavours across the diversity of landscapes of India.
