Research Assistant, High Altitudes

Hailing from the beautiful and quaint town of Jamnagar, Gujarat, I was always in awe of the wonderful avifauna the wetlands here host. This inclination grew more while watching corals and tidal creatures, visiting natural places and being fascinated by Disney films! With a major in Zoology, I recently completed my master's from BVIEER, Pune in Wildlife Conservation Action. My dissertation topic was looking into the status of otter research in India, its scope and trends, and how their ranges have changed since historic times. My fieldwork experience in breathtaking landscapes made me realize how crucial it is that we work judiciously with all effort for conservation and make everyone a part of it. I am interested in learning about socio-ecological research, evolutionary biology and landscape ecology.
