Shweta Shivakumar is driven to study shared landscapes between people and big cats. Her PhD research focuses on attacks by big cats (lion, leopard, tiger, jaguar, puma) on people. The case study of her PhD is on the spatiotemporal patterns of leopard attacks on people and narratives of attacks in Himachal Pradesh, India.
