I am a mechanical engineer turned ecologist and a long time naturalist. My earlier research explored rainforest dynamics and drivers of plant diversity. During that period, I became deeply interested in how public participation and collaboration can enrich science. My current work centres on leveraging the power of citizen science to better understand the natural world. I am also a citizen science enthusiast myself and love watching and documenting birds, beetles and other life!
