Tandup Chhering

Field Technician, High Altitudes

My Name is Tandup Chhering and I come from a very beautiful and peaceful place called Kibber which is situated at a height of 4200m above sea level in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh. I finished my class 12 from the village school. I helped Kulbhushansingh Suryawanshi during his PhD dissertation. This is when I got a chance to work with NCF. Since 2010 I have been working with NCF as field assistant.
