Connecting students in higher education with nature
College campuses across India are full of life — trees, birds, insects, wildflowers, and countless stories waiting to be discovered. Yet many students move through these spaces without noticing the richness around them. Nature on Campus helps bridge this gap.
We work with colleges and universities to create opportunities for students to observe, explore, and engage with nature in meaningful ways. Through expert-led interactions, nature-based activities, and a growing community of nature clubs, we nurture curiosity, awareness, and deeper connections with the natural world.
Campus Connect
Connecting students with ecologists, conservationists, and naturalists
College Connect is designed for teachers and faculty of colleges and Universities who wish to organise meaningful interactions for their students with experts in ecology, conservation, and related fields.
Through this programme, colleges can invite resource persons for talks, discussions, or interactive sessions — either online or offline.
How it works
Teachers fill out a short form and select the resource persons they would like to invite from our database of resource people.
Once submitted, our team reaches out to the selected resource persons to check their availability. If they are available during your preferred timeframe, we connect you and the expert on a common email thread so that both of you can finalise the details — date, time, mode, and topic.
If your preferred resource person is not in our database, you can write to us directly at preranachandak@ncf-india.org and we’ll do our best to help.
College Nature Clubs Network
A growing community of student nature clubs across India
Do you run a Nature or Eco Club in your college? Whether your club is newly formed or long-running, we would love to work with you.
Through the College Nature Clubs Network, we aim to strengthen student-led engagement with nature on college campuses by helping clubs organise meaningful activities and connecting them with resources, experts, and peer communities. Whether your goal is to help students notice the birds on campus, start a nature trail, or organise a seminar series, we’re here to help you make it happen.
Join the network
If your Nature/Eco Club would like to be part of this initiative, please fill out this form. We look forward to learning more about your club and exploring ways to collaborate.
