Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct bird monitoring workshops in Mizo and other regional languages.

• Create birding resources in Mizo and other regional languages and help translate existing birdwatching content.

• Conduct systematic surveys to determine baseline bird abundances.

• Conduct exploratory surveys for special birds in previously undocumented but promising areas.

• Build a regional team to execute the project on-ground and handle regional logistics.

• Collaborate with regional organizations.

• Support the Project Coordinator in the conceptualization, analysis, and writing of scientific publications.

Qualifications

Graduation in any field and an interest in birding and the outdoors.

Location

This is a remote position based in Mizoram, with travel to Bangalore.
